SUMMARY:Memorial Day Vigil
DESCRIPTION:All gave some. Some gave all. \nIn partnership with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars\, Scout Troop 37 will participate in the annual 24-hour vigil in memory of our fallen veterans. There is a public lighting ceremony just before dusk on May 24\, 2026. \nWe invite you to participate with us. Our scouts will be standing vigil from 5:00 am to 7:00 am at Braunsdorf Park\, on Main St and Central Avenue in Pearl River\, on Monday\, May 25. \nOur scouts will of course be in uniform\, but other attendees joining us should wear comfortable clothing. Bring water. There are no bathrooms. \nThis is a rain or shine event. Dress with appropriate outer layers. \nIf you have questions\, please contact us at Troop2037bsa@gmail.com or 845-533-6911.

SUMMARY:Summer Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:According to Lord Baden Powell\, the founder of Scouting\, “A week at Summer Camp is worth a year in the meeting hall”. \nThis Summer Troop 37 is going to Read Scout Reservation in the majestic Adirondack Mountains.  Attendees will have the opportunity to work on any of over 50 merit badges in skilled trades\, shooting sports\, handicrafts\, outdoor skills\, aquatics and ecology. \nWe will be at Camp Waubeeka on the Camp Read Reservation\, located near Brant Lake\, NY\, living as a troop under the supervision of our home leadership. \nIf there are question or you need more details please reach out to us at 845 533-6911 or troop2037bsa@gmail.com
